If you are using it through FM:
The currently selected FM frequency is used by a local radio station. Try to find free frequency with your radio and then set the Compact BT to that by following the next steps:
- Seek for a free FM frequency on your car radio (if the frequencies before and after this are also free, that is the best situation)
- Connect your smartphone to the Compact BT via Bluetooth
- Dial ###XXXX and start the call to set the Compact BT’s
FM frequency to XXX.X MHz (example: dial ###0932 to set the frequency to 93.2 MHz)
Please note: The FM frequency can be set to a value between 88.1 and 107.9 MHz – in 0.1 increments.
If this is not the case, please also check the AUX-in part.
If you are using it through AUX-in:
It can be a power connection problem, some cars don’t have proper grounding at some parts. The best connection point for power would be the fuse box, and the grounding should be attached to the metal chassis of the car.
