The quick way to check the actual settings is to press Escape when the player is working and from the popped up menu list select 'Display settings' item.
If yo press Escape you'll see this list:
The status list will contain information about output mode (DVI/HDMI), output resolution and input resolution. Like this:
Modify output settings
To modify output settings press Insert when player works and will open the Android Settings application. Chose 'Display':
than select Output settings:
Modify output resolution
and from the presented list select your favored resolution. Is recommended to select the highest option which is supported by your screen. If you are not sure, select Auto detect mode and in the Player's display status page check the set values.
If you change the resolution, a confirmation dialog will be thrown. If you cannot see it, or you wont click Ok, the device will switch back to the old settings.
Modify output mode
The CPX device can handle two video output modes: DVI and HDMI. The default is DVI. If you switch to HDMI mode, the audio will be served only in analog channels.
After clicking the item:
If you change the mode, a confirmation dialog will be thrown. If you cannot see it, or you wont click Ok, the device will switch back to the old mode.
If there your screen doesn't show entire view, crops it, you can decrease the output in a range (till 90%). In a normal screen this will cause a black frame around the useful content. You can decrease the view by pressing F5 key and increase with F4. Or in the Androis settings (Insert) / Display / Output settings select Change display resize:
In next window you can modify the vertical and horizontal sizes independently.
